Gabriel M. Huey is a founding shareholder of Huey Lam PC, where he represents current and former employees in a wide range of employment matters. His practice includes claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, breach of contract, fraud, negligence, and violations of California employment laws.
Gabe has represented clients across many industries and professional backgrounds, including minimum wage workers, educators, engineers, pharmaceutical sales representatives, executives, and other professionals.
Known for his tenacity, strategic thinking, and precise litigation style, Gabe is a trusted advocate for employees navigating complex workplace disputes. He combines strong courtroom advocacy with a personable and effective communication style that helps clients feel informed and supported throughout the legal process.
Before co-founding Huey Lam PC, Gabe began his career at a prominent plaintiff-side employment law firm in Los Angeles before training at several internationally recognized law firms, including Littler Mendelson P.C., Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, and K&L Gates LLP. There, he defended employers in individual, class, and representative actions across a broad range of industries, including technology, engineering, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, retail, telecommunications, logistics, and private equity.
Gabe later became a partner at K&L Gates LLP before returning to plaintiff-side employment law and founding the firm alongside Derrick K. Lam.
Gabe graduated summa cum laude from University of Redlands with degrees in Global Business and Economics. He earned his J.D. from UCLA School of Law, where he served as Co-Chair of the Public Interest Law Fund.
